It’s been a busy weekend over at Wired, where I have tackled everything from dead icons to dead technology. Hurry Up, Autolux! Good Noise is Hard to Find
This stunning Los Angeles trio’s Future Perfect dropped in 2004, but I still haven’t been able to get “Angry Candy” out of my head. You should put it in yours, and harass Autolux into confessing the release date for its 2008 follow-up Transit Transit. The year is getting shorter,and good noise is hard to find. MORE @ WIRED
Video: De La Soul’s Timeless ‘Saturday’ Jam
There’s a faction of hip-hop that believes in a Golden Age, ranging roughly from the late ’80s to early ’90s. The usual icons are involved: Run-DMC, Eric B. & Rakim and onward to De La Soul, the most underrated legend in the game. MORE @ WIRED
